Invitation to bid: Position “International Expert in Socio-Economic Comprehensive Services System”

 

Context

CLESIDRA: Civil Society Links and Empowerment for Socially Inclusive Development in Ratanakiri, in Cambodia, is a project signed between the applicant organization FELCOS Umbria and the Contracting Authority, the EU Delegation to the Kingdom of Cambodia. The project has started January 1st, 2024 and will last until April 30th, 2027.
ILS LEDA – Institute for International Links and Services for Local Economic Development Agencies - has signed a memorandum of understanding with FELCOS Umbria, in which it undertakes to contribute to the economic development aspects of the project.

 TERMS OF REFERENCE

The “International Expert in Socio-Economic Comprehensive Services System - COSS” should provide remote support and conducting missions in the framework of project activities 4.2 - Technical assistance for designing the COSS, 4.3 - Capacity building and technical assistance to the COSS start up, 4.4 - Capacity building workshops to improve skills of the single service providers and address service system gaps. In particular:

  • Elaborating preliminary proposals on how to build a sustainable System of Socio- Economic Services for Ratanakiri Local Economic Development
  • Realizing training and coaching activities to the COSS start up/ to improve skills of the service providers and address service system gaps
  • Providing guidance and support for the value chains’ strategies implementation with particular regard to accessing to new markets
    Desirable Experience/Characteristics

Desirable Experience/Characteristics

  • 5/10 years of professional experience in service providers support to rural value chains (agri-food and tourism)
  • Desirable experience/knowledge of South East Asia contexts
  • Excellent English skills
  • Availability to conduct missions in Cambodia
