The work intends to provide a comfortable tool or house, where the reader can find what she/he considers more useful for improving her/his knowledge and implementing actions related to Local Economic Development (LED).
The work aims to offer a useful guide to scholars and operators on the one hand in orienting themselves on the main theoretical schemes and approaches that support local development processes, on the other in having a panorama of the practices carried out by important international institutions, and finally it proposes some “tool kits” which can be of help to those interested in how to implement local development processes, with a particular eye to economic ones.
