The Valencian Institute of Business Competitiveness (IVACE) was granted an award for ‘Outstanding Best Practices 2022’ in the EURADA Awards 2022 for its performance with the MASDE project.

These awards, which have been held annually since 2015, recognize good practices implemented by regional development agencies that dedicate their efforts to the economic growth of their territories and business competitiveness. The development agencies RARS (Slovenia) and BEBKA (Turkey) were the other winners.

MASDE is a business support mechanism for sustainable growth at the sector level, whose purpose is to increase the capacity for strategic planning in companies, working in cooperation with the main actors in the sector (Technological Institutes, Clusters, Development Agencies). The objective is to address the strategies and growth of entities towards sustainable development, analyzing the different scenarios that companies could encounter during the transition towards sustainable business models.

These awards are of great value, since the jury that awards them are professional colleagues and are made up of members of the board of directors of the European Association of Development Agencies (EURADA). The main criterion for selecting IVACE lies in the possibility of transferring the good practices developed to other entities.
